Job description

Inside Sales Representative

Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Recurring Earning Potential

Speakeasy Print – Palatka, Florida
Part-Time or Full-Time | Inside Sales with Front Desk Support

Are you a proven salesperson who knows how to get the right person on the phone, take control of a conversation, and turn a cold prospect into a long-term customer?

Speakeasy Print is looking for an ambitious, highly skilled sales professional to help us expand our customer base and market footprint.

This is an opportunity to join a growing company with proven demand, a broad range of products, and customers who order repeatedly throughout the year. We are not offering just another fixed-pay position. We are offering the right salesperson a platform to build a valuable book of business and create substantial long-term income.

The position includes a base salary, uncapped commission opportunities, and the potential to earn recurring commission from the new accounts you develop for the duration of your employment with Speakeasy Print.

The accounts you build today can continue producing income for you as those customers reorder, grow, and purchase additional products.

A Sales Opportunity with Real Upside

Nearly every business, school, nonprofit, municipality, organization, and community group needs something we provide.

Our services include:

  • Commercial printing
  • Interior and exterior signs
  • Custom apparel and uniforms
  • Promotional products
  • Banners and displays
  • Vehicle graphics
  • Window and floor graphics
  • Marketing materials
  • Business cards, brochures, booklets, and more

A customer may initially need one product and later purchase from several different categories. That gives a talented salesperson the opportunity to grow each new account into a valuable, long-term relationship.

There is no artificial ceiling on commission earnings. A salesperson who consistently prospects, builds relationships, follows up, and closes new business can create an exceptional income.

This is not about waiting for opportunities to appear.

It is about creating them.

What You’ll Do

Your primary responsibility will be generating new customers through proactive outbound sales activity.

You will:

  • Make outbound calls to businesses, schools, organizations, and decision-makers
  • Send professional and personalized outbound emails
  • Introduce prospective customers to Speakeasy Print’s capabilities
  • Identify customer needs and uncover new sales opportunities
  • Build relationships with business owners, managers, purchasing departments, and community leaders
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and open opportunities
  • Present solutions and communicate their value
  • Overcome objections and confidently ask for the business
  • Convert prospects into long-term customers
  • Develop and grow a portfolio of recurring accounts
  • Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity in the CRM
  • Complete assigned CRM tasks that help organize prospecting and follow-up
  • Help expand Speakeasy Print into new industries, accounts, and territories

The company will provide pricing and estimates. Your responsibility is to understand the customer, communicate value, follow through, and close the sale.

Inside Sales with Front Desk Support

This is primarily a sales position, but the employee will also assist with front desk responsibilities as part of the daily operation.

Front desk support may include:

  • Professionally greeting walk-in customers
  • Answering incoming phone calls
  • Gathering customer and project information
  • Entering inquiries and orders into the CRM
  • Directing questions to the appropriate team member
  • Assisting customers with basic order intake
  • Helping maintain an organized and professional front office

Front desk responsibilities provide additional exposure to our products, customers, and operations. However, the greatest earning opportunities in this position will come from the new business you proactively create through outbound prospecting.

Build a Book of Business That Keeps Growing

This position is designed to reward account development.

When you bring a new customer to Speakeasy Print through your outbound calls, emails, and prospecting efforts, you may be eligible to earn commission on that business.

As those customers return and continue purchasing, you may also be eligible to earn recurring commission from those accounts throughout your employment with the company.

That gives a determined salesperson the opportunity to build income in layers:

  • New accounts
  • Repeat orders
  • Larger future projects
  • Additional product categories
  • Customer referrals
  • Expanding account relationships

Instead of starting over at zero every month, you can build a portfolio of customers that becomes more valuable over time.

The larger and stronger your book of business becomes, the greater your earning potential can become.

You Do Not Need Print or Sign Experience

Previous experience in printing, signs, apparel, or promotional products is not required.

Training will be provided to the right fit.

We can teach you:

  • Our products and services
  • Printing and signage terminology
  • Our production capabilities
  • Order intake procedures
  • CRM processes
  • Internal systems
  • Pricing and estimating procedures

We are looking for someone who already understands sales.

You should know how to:

  • Start conversations
  • Build rapport quickly
  • Ask effective questions
  • Find the decision-maker
  • Create interest
  • Follow up consistently
  • Handle objections
  • Ask for the order
  • Close business
  • Develop lasting customer relationships

Who Will Succeed Here?

The ideal candidate is:

  • Exceptional and highly confident over the phone
  • Skilled in outbound calling and prospecting
  • Persuasive without sounding scripted
  • Creative, resourceful, and solutions-oriented
  • Ambitious and financially motivated
  • Competitive and results-driven
  • Persistent without becoming unprofessional
  • Comfortable speaking with owners, executives, managers, and decision-makers
  • Capable of taking control of a sales conversation
  • Disciplined with follow-ups
  • Comfortable using a CRM
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Professional, polished, and dependable
  • Excited by the opportunity to build something substantial

Because this is a customer-facing position, candidates must maintain a top-notch, polished, and professional appearance and represent Speakeasy Print confidently during customer interactions, meetings, and networking opportunities.

Why Join Speakeasy Print?

Speakeasy Print is a growing, locally owned company with broad capabilities and proven market demand.

We are continuing to expand our services, customer base, and geographic reach. The right salesperson can play a major role in that expansion while benefiting financially from the accounts and revenue they help create.

This position offers:

  • Base salary
  • Uncapped commission opportunities
  • Potential recurring commission from personally developed accounts
  • A large and diverse potential customer market
  • Products that customers need repeatedly
  • Training on our products and industry
  • CRM tools and structured follow-up tasks
  • Opportunities to grow into greater responsibility
  • The ability to help shape the future sales footprint of the company

We are looking for someone who wants more than a comfortable routine.

We want someone who sees a large market, recognizes the opportunity, and wants to build a serious income by helping us capture it.

How to Apply

Please submit your résumé along with a brief explanation of:

  • Your previous sales experience
  • Your strongest sales accomplishments
  • Your experience with outbound calling and prospecting
  • Examples of new accounts or revenue you have generated
  • Why you believe you can help expand Speakeasy Print’s customer footprint

Candidates who demonstrate confidence, professionalism, initiative, persistence, and a proven ability to generate new business will receive priority consideration.

Speakeasy Print is an equal opportunity employer.
