The Opportunity:
With cloud-based tools, faster GPUs, and the explosion of connected devices, geospatial data has more potential than ever. A skilled analyst can turn that data into valuable or mission critical information. If that sounds like you, we have an opportunity for you to use your geospatial analysis skills to transform the United States Air Force (USAF).
As a geospatial analyst, you'll work with a team of analysts to extract meaning and context from facility surveys and LiDAR scans. Using resources like ArcGIS, Cyclone, and Revit, you'll find the patterns and connections to answer USAF needs. You'll also use your skills to leverage satellite, airborne, and terrestrial or handheld LiDAR remote sensing solutions, and help analyze survey data to assess meaning and potential intent. You'll develop data to geospatial solutions for space utilization. Your visualization skills will come in handy as you build datasets to ensure accurate real property allocations. We focus on growing as a team, so we'll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop workflows. This is an opportunity to strengthen your experience in data collection and processing while developing products to improve the USAF. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Join us. The world can't wait.
You Have:
  • Experience with ESRI and ArcGIS Desktop for building drawings and facilities
  • Ability to work with AutoCAD files and transfer them into geospatial data formats
  • Ability to conduct site or facility surveys
  • Ability to use software applications, including Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
