Job description

Job Posting The City of Deerwood is currently taking applications for 1 Full-Time Police Officer position and up to 2 Part-Time Police Officer positions. Police Officers perform a variety of law enforcement duties to protect life and property through the enforcement of federal, state, and local laws and city ordinances. Responsibilities include routine patrol, criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, responding to calls for service, and maintaining positive relationships with the community.

Officers may also receive specialized assignments requiring additional training, experience, or education. Minimum Qualifications: Must be Minnesota POST licensed or eligible for licensure by the date of a conditional offer of employment.
