Job description

Pediatric Registered Nurse (Pediatric RN)

Reports To: Clinical Supervisor / DON Authority: Delivers skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in compliance with physician orders, care plans, and agency pediatric protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pediatric assessments and monitor growth/development.
  • Administer medications, respiratory support, enteral feedings, and therapies.
  • Train families and caregivers on complex pediatric care tasks.
  • Coordinate with pediatricians and specialists.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate pediatric documentation.
    • Qualifications:
  • 1 year experience in pediatric nursing or home health preferred.
    • Licensure/Certifications:
  • Active Virginia RN license.
  • CPR (infant and child required).
    • Education:

    Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

    Physical Requirements:

    Able to lift children, use pediatric equipment, and respond to emergencies.
