Job description

Job Shift: Rotate

Job Type: Part Time

Up to $10,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Radiology Tech operates all radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, portable equipment to include Operating room, portable, C-Arm, and O-Arm procedures to obtain optimal radiographs of designated portions of the body to aid in diagnosis of disease. Direct responsibility for adult, pediatric, and neonatal care until patient is returned to patient room or until outpatient is discharged. Participates in the daily routine of Diagnostic Radiology procedures and including "On-Call".

West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state-of-the art breast imaging center, womens and childrens services and the only level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County. Its two emergency centers, one at the main hospital and the other in Coconut Creek, are open 24-hours a day. Join our team!

Education:

  • Minimum: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology

Experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of radiologic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy

Other Qualifications:

1. ARRT (R) Registered

2. State of Florida, DOH License

3. American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
