Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a pediatric radiology unit, requiring ARRT-R certification and at least 1 year of experience, with pediatric experience preferred.

Details
  • Pediatric hospital radiology unit within a 152-bed Level II pediatric trauma center (including 70 Level IV NICU beds)
  • Patient population is pediatric, ages 0–18, covering all diagnoses
  • Equipment used includes Siemens YSIO Xpree, Agile Max, Cannon Portables, and GE OEC C-arm
  • EMR: Epic; PACS: Change Healthcare
  • 12-hour night shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off (Thursday–Wednesday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  • 35 hours per week
  • Weekend rotation dependent upon shift
  • On-call is possible but limited to nights and weekends, no more than 24 hours per month, and only in the event of a call-off or emergency case
  • May float to the OR, ER, fluoro, or portables in the NICU at an adjacent campus connected by a walkway
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience; pediatric experience preferred
  • ARRT-R certification required
  • Current BLS required
  • WA state license required if applicable
  • Experience with pediatric patients and OR imaging required
  • Fluoro experience (upper GIs, EV shunts, barium studies) required if working day shifts
  • Proficiency producing high-quality diagnostic images
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and ability to multitask in a pediatric care environment
  • Two references from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, etc.) required prior to start; one reference accepted at time of consideration
Additional Information
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Perform diagnostic imaging across a variety of pediatric cases including OR cases, fluoroscopy studies, ER imaging, and portable NICU exams
  • Scrubs of any color are acceptable
  • Free garage and street parking available on-site; local light rail is an alternative option
