Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the park grounds. This role focuses on landscaping, grounds care, and basic outdoor maintenance to ensure Little Ocmulgee continues to deliver an exceptional experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain park grounds through mowing, edging, raking, and trash removal
  • Prune and care for trees, shrubs, and plant life
  • Plant, fertilize, seed, and prepare soil and landscaping areas
  • Safely operate equipment including mowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Assist with drainage, spraying vegetation, and general outdoor repairs
  • Clean and maintain restrooms and public-use areas
  • Respond to guest and staff concerns regarding park conditions
  • Follow all safety procedures to maintain a hazard-free environment
  • Properly clean, maintain, and store all tools and equipment
