Successful applicants will support and teach within the Northern Pennsylvania Regional College's model of distributive teaching and learning, in which instruction is supported by technology, enabling students to engage in a single class experience from different locations through real-time interactive video feeds. The successful applicant will also be able to work effectively with supervisors, colleagues, staff, and students as part of an education team. Depending upon availability, the instructor could also teach on-site customized training programs for corporate clients.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Availability to teach short-term classes in public classes or as customized training for corporate clients
  • The ability to assess student needs and wants and deliver the same is a central approach for workforce development faculty
  • Instructional practices should be founded in practical application and extensive participation by the students.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current professional experience is required.
  • Prior teaching or curriculum development experience preferred, but not required.
  • Should be familiar with course content delivery through a learning management system or be willing to quickly acquire those necessary skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in the field of study to qualify as a master-level practitioner able to skillfully instruct others

MINIMUM PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS (other requirements may apply):

  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History Record Check
  • Federal Criminal History Background Check
  • Valid Driver's License
