The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery Center is seeking a Pre-Op/PACU RN for a part-time position in Chattanooga, TN.
Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics has opened a new state of the art Ambulatory Surgery Center. This 10 OR suite ASC is the largest in the state of Tennessee. We have been Chattanooga's leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care since 1979. We are seeking a highly skilled individual who is looking to advance a career in Orthopaedic Surgery.
A Registered Nurse is a professional who provides patient care based upon the nursing process; being effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Registered Nurse shall oversee and guide employees that are under his/her supervision. The Registered Nurse actively supports and promotes the Centers Philosophy and mission statement. The Registered Nurse is under the direction of PreOp Team Lead, PACU Team Lead, and the Clinical Manager.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • RN license in the State of Tennessee required.
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
