We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Heavy Packager to join our team and support our automotive parts packaging operations.

Heavy Packager Job Description:

The Heavy Packager is responsible for assembling packaging, such as boxes and crates, for automotive parts, and ensuring that all materials are packed securely to prevent damage during transit. This role involves handling heavy items and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Heavy Packager Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and prepare packaging for large and heavy automotive parts, ensuring all items are securely packed to minimize damage during shipping.
  • Accurately label and record packaged items, ensuring that all packages are properly marked and documented.
  • Inspect packaging for any tears, cracks, or dents, and ensure that materials are packed to avoid breakage during transit.
  • Interpret work orders to ensure materials are packaged in the correct containers with proper labeling as specified.
  • Palletize materials according to standard operating procedures to ensure accurate and secure packaging.
  • Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to the supervisor.
  • Ensure that all packaging meets company standards and that no damage is caused to the materials during the packaging process.
  • Review packing lists to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures within the warehouse environment, particularly when handling heavy automotive parts.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management to support overall warehouse operations.
