The Cardiology EKG Technician I performs various non-invasive cardiac procedures, including stress testing, Holter monitor hook-up, ECG's, and pacemaker, event monitoring and remote monitoring for adults. These procedures are performed following established department and Medical Center policy and procedures.Core Competencies

- Performs ECG's/SAECG's on adult patients.
- Edits and distributes ECG's.
- Prepares test results for interpretation and dictation; completes work process before end of shift.
- Orders supplies and maintains appropriate stock levels.
- Maintains clean and safe work/patient environment.
- Initiates equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
- Assists with orientation and training of new employees/volunteers.
- Utilizes appropriate and effective communication and problem solving skills in all interpersonal interactions.
