Job description

Overview:     RiverWoods Durham is currently seeking a Part Time Security Staff person to join our team and help provide excellent and quality customer service in support of our residents and community. This is a 8 hour a week position- the ideal candidate would be able to work every weekend Saturday at Midnight to Sunday  at 8am.   Benefits: - 403(b) Retirement plan with a company match - Paid Holidays - Wellness Programs - On-site fitness opportunities - Employee meal program - Education assistance Responsibilities:
  • Tour facility buildings and premises to prevent fires, theft, vandalism, and intruders; confront unauthorized persons for questioning as needed; report safety and/or fire hazards or security activities.
  • Monitor status of lightbulbs, assist with floor care, remove trash/recycling from the building
  • Maintains accurate work order logs and other required documentation
  • Provides direct assistance to the Director of Facilities for special projects, annual preventative maintenance duties, or other tasks as assigned
  • Assist with snow removal in the winter months to ensure safety for the community
  • Assist Community Life or Campus Services team with other projects, room set-up, resident needs, or other requests
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma required
  • Minimum 1-year experience preferred
  • CPR certification, or the obility to obtain one required
