Position Summary
The Part-Time Evening Life Enrichment Assistant helps plan and lead activities that promote social, emotional, and physical well-being for our residents. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, compassionate, and enjoys spending time with seniors in a smaller, home-like setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, organizing, and leading evening activities (games, music, crafts, social programs, movies, discussion groups, etc.)

  • Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to individual needs and abilities

  • Escort and assist residents to and from programs within the building

  • Help with set-up and clean-up of program spaces and supplies

  • Support special events and seasonal programs as needed

  • Build positive, supportive relationships with residents, families, and staff

Qualifications

  • Experience working with seniors or in activities/recreation is helpful, but not required

  • Friendly, patient, and upbeat personality with a genuine interest in older adults

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable engaging small groups and individuals

  • Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to assist with light physical tasks, including pushing wheelchairs
