Company Description

The purpose of the Campus Operations Department is to enhance CCV’s ability to be a destination point for the unchurched, promote fellowship for attendees and to support the staff in growing their ministries in the aspects of making people feel comfortable while on our campus.  The purpose of this position is to assist in the overall operations of the Peoria Campus with an emphasis on the execution of day to day tasks. 

Job Description

Essential Job Functions 

  • Campus Entry/Security:  Maintaining the use of the campus ensuring the proper doors and access points are open and closed for and after scheduled events, including restrooms. 
  • General Campus Operations:  Maintain trashcans, sidewalks/sitting areas, restrooms and eating areas throughout the campus and sports fields.  Pressure washing and mail delivery. 
  • Facility/Event Schedule:  Using the facility schedule, adequately execute room set ups for events including tables and chair configurations, table skirting, and specific ministry needs. 
  • Room Management:  Inspecting rooms and buildings prior to events and connecting with the event leader prior to the event to make sure all needs are met including temperature settings, doors and access, room configurations, and last minute needs and details. 
  • Customer Service:  Incorporate with all staff and volunteers a customer service-oriented approach when dealing with church staff, volunteers, participants of CCV.

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends 
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures 
  • Repetitive motions including but not limited to: bending & lifting 
  • Standing on feet for an entire shift, excluding breaks and/or lunch
