Job description

Scheduled Hours24Position SummaryPosition performs diagnostic radiographic examinations, applying principles of radiation protection and principles of effective patient care.Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs radiographic examinations per scanning protocols, correlating patient history with examination and presents study to physician for examination while adhering to patient schedules.

  • Assists physicians with procedures, obtains necessary supplies and equipment and monitors patient needs while assisting physician with patient support.

  • Enhances own professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and conferences.

  • Maintains documentation as requires, including patient files, performs data entry and completes paperwork needed for procedures/processes.

  • Develops film through automatic processing, monitoring darkroom supplies.

  • Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

  • Assists with maintaining supplies.
