Assist in Career and Transfer advising activities Maintain individual records on students. Develop and conduct workshops relevant to student success Provide matriculation services for students and track potential graduates

Participate in retention and outreach efforts Complete unofficial transcript evaluations. Must meet one of the following qualifications under (a) through (c): (a) Possess a valid Lifetime California Community College Credential that permits full-time service as Counselor; OR (b) Possess a Master's degree, from an accredited institution, in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, or career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family and child counseling; OR (c) A bachelor's degree in one of the above listed degrees and a license as a Marriage, and Family Therapist (MFT) is an alternative qualification for this discipline.) AND 2

Demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, including those with disabilities. (AB 1725, 87360a).
