Momentum Health empowers patients through the delivery of collaborative healthcare. Join us as we guide Albertans through evidence-informed multidisciplinary care (including Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Kinesiology, Athletic Therapy, Physiatry and Sport Medicine).  

Evidence Sport and Spine implements the latest research to provide patients with a multidisciplinary approach to musculoskeletal pain management.  Be part of a team of highly trained advanced practice physiotherapists, pain physicians, and physiatrists, passionate about providing the highest standard in evidence-based care.

Exceptional patient service, collaborative care and continued growth and improvement are highly valued at Momentum Health & Evidence Sport and Spine.  We are presently seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Coverage Office Administrator to join our dynamic team.

Location: Momentum Health & Evidence Sport and Spine: All nine (9) locations

Employment Type: Casual, Full-Time (guaranteed 25 hours per week)

Required Hours: Variable between 7AM-8PM (dependent on coverage shift)

Compensation: $17 to $19

Our Office Administrators provide outstanding administrative support to patients and co-workers and keep the focus on patient-centered care. 

Required Criteria

  • Must have a reliable vehicle to commute between clinics
  • Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and Saturday’s
  • Direct rehab experience not required; however, experience in a fast paced busy retail or service industry position is an asset
  • Must be able to commit to a one-year term

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Greet patients, staff, and visitors to the clinic in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist patients with scheduling appointments and making payments at the front desk
  • Answer phones
  • Coordinator the flow of patients safely through the clinic
  • Intake process for new patients
  • Scan, fax and upload documents to the Electronic Medical Records system
  • Private, third party, and AHS billing
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality for all patients, staff and physicians
  • Adhere to all Momentum Health Policies and Procedures

The Successful Candidate will have the Following Experience/Education

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable with different software applications (MS Office, Google-Suite). We use the medical billing systems: Practice Perfect and Med Access and need candidates to be able to learn these systems quickly.
  • High School Diploma
  • Medical Office Administration certification or experience is an asset but not necessary if candidate has experience in a fast paced retail or service position
