Position Overview

We are seeking a provider who can commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, ideally across two consistent 5-hour shifts per week. This consistency allows our team to appropriately schedule intakes, psychiatric evaluations, and follow-up care for clients.

The schedule may be any weekday Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

This position does not include weekends or on-call responsibilities.


What You’ll Do

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management services for IOP, outpatient, and future PHP clients.
  • Review and sign laboratory orders, including urine drug screening orders.
  • Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care for behavioral health and substance use disorder clients.
  • Schedule and manage your own patient follow-up appointments to support continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Coordinate patient care with therapists, nursing staff, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations and clinical collaboration meetings as needed.
  • Educate clients on medications, treatment planning, and recovery support using a compassionate, strengths-based approach.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing required.
  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New Hampshire.
  • DEA license required prior to hire.
  • Experience working with adolescents ages 13 and older preferred.
  • Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred.
  • Experience working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychotropic medications and behavioral health treatment interventions.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with the treatment team.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, or substance use disorder treatment settings.
  • Experience in outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), or partial hospitalization (PHP) environments.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care.


Work Environment

  • Hybrid flexibility may be considered based on operational needs and candidate experience.
  • Services are provided Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
  • No weekend coverage or on-call responsibilities required.
