Evening Nurse Supervisor

Join our wonderful team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Old Bridge as an Evening Nurse Supervisor today! We are an exceptional team-oriented company hiring for a skilled and compassionate Nurse Supervisor to lead our evening shift.

Autumn Lake Healthcare at Old Bridge is a proud member of the Old Bridge community since 1972, providing a haven of peace for our residents to rest, relax, and rejuvenate in the capable hands of our warm, caring team. Our newly-renovated facility offers short-term rehabilitation and long-term care for a wide range of complex medical conditions.

Job Summary

As an Evening Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the evening shift in our nursing facility. You will ensure that our residents receive high-quality care and services, while also supporting our nursing staff and other departments. We are looking for a licensed and experienced Nurse Supervisor who is passionate about providing exceptional care and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the evening shift, ensuring that all residents receive quality care and services

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff, including assignments, scheduling, and performance evaluations

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols for the evening shift

  • Provide guidance and support to nurses and other staff members, addressing concerns and issues as needed

  • Collaborate with other departments, including admissions, social services, and dietary, to ensure seamless care

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Evening Nurse Supervisor preferred

  • Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and families

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
