Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides holistic healthcare and education to clients in order to promote physical and mental health and well-being. The RN works in collaboration with other clinical and non-clinical staff to provide appropriate clinical interventions and treatment. Previous Pediatric Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing experience helpful. Graduate Nurses welcomed!
Shifts Available
Position located in Orefield, PA
Multiple Shifts available - Full-time, Part-time and Flex/Weekend Option positions
Overnight and primarily 2nd shift hours are currently needed the most.

Qualifications (Education, Training and Experience):
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN)
  • License in good standing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of one year mental health, pediatric, adolescent or physical health nursing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a member of a team required.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills required.
  • Must have the ability to express or exchange information by means of spoken word. Must have the ability to read, understand, speak and write in English. Bilingual skills helpful.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • CPR certification or immediate certification training required.
  • Must be able to be trained and certified to observe current KidsPeace approved restraint methodology and have the ability to participate in and/or observe all aspects of restraint procedures on youth who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and are verbally or physically threatening or otherwise presenting a threat to themselves or others.
  • Must be able to work OT if necessary.
