Direct Support Professional (DSP)

What You Will Do: 

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide support while promoting independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life. 

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADL's) such as personal hygiene, grooming, and medication administration 

- Respond to medical or behavioral needs following established procedures

- Encourage individuals to engage in life skills, social activities, recreational activities, and skill building activities 

- Support individuals as they pursue their personal goals

- Build positive, respectful relationships with the individuals we support

- Document individual progress of goals, incidents, observations and interventions in individual portal 

- Light housekeeping, maintaining a clean and safe environment

- Work collaboratively with team members to provide consistent, high-quality support

Available Shifts:

 We offer a variety of full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules.

First Shift Positions:

  • Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
  • Sunday-Wednesday 7am-5pm

Second Shift Positions: 

  • Sunday 8:30am-8:30pm - Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-9pm
  • Tuesday-Friday 2:30pm-9pm - Saturday 8:30am-8:30pm

Third Shift Positions:

  • Various days from 10:30pm-8:30am

Part Time:

  • Every other weekend Saturday 8:30am-8:30pm - Sunday 8:30am-8:30pm
  • Friday & Monday 3pm-9pm
  • Part time PRN 

Qualifications: 

- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

- Driver's License Required for most positions

- No experience necessary

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse individuals 

- Calm, passionate and collected demeanor in complex and challenging situations
