Position Summary:

Light On Anxiety Treatment Centers is seeking a part-time Neuropsychological Testing Technician to assist with administering psychological and neuropsychological assessments and contributing to report writing. This position is ideal for a 3rd or 4th year psychology doctoral student who has already completed at least one year-long neuropsychological testing practicum.

The Testing Technician will work closely with our licensed clinical psychologists to ensure accurate, efficient, and compassionate testing services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and score neuropsychological and psychological measures, identify appropriate normative values and interpret results.

  • Organize test data in preparation for interpretation by supervising clinicians.

  • Draft user-friendly neuropsychological reports for clients summarizing assessment findings and actionable recommendations for supervisor review.

  • Communicate and consult with members of each client’s care team (legal guardians, families, and other internal and external parties) as necessary and appropriate.

  • Ensure ethical, professional, and confidential handling of sensitive client information.

  • Provide a supportive, patient-centered environment during testing sessions.

  • Assist with test kit maintenance, organization, and inventory management.

Schedule & Work Environment:

  • Part-time position (minimum 12 hours/week).

  • One weekend day of in-person availability is required for test administration, along with one weekday for scoring and report writing. 

  • Must be able to commit to at least one 6-hour block

Compensation:

  • $25 per billable hour

  • Supervision and mentorship provided by licensed clinical psychologists

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a doctoral program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (3rd year or beyond).

  • Completion of at least one year-long neuropsychological testing practicum.

  • Strong knowledge of standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessment tools.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong writing skills and ability to draft clear, professional report sections.

  • Professionalism, reliability, and ability to build rapport with clients across age groups.
