Overview

BreakThrough Physical Therapy, part of the Confluent Health family, is hiring a Part-Time Physician Liaison / Healthcare Marketing to grow referral relationships with physicians and healthcare providers across Wilimington territory.

This role focuses on provider outreach, referral growth, and community engagement to strengthen BreakThrough's presence in the healthcare community. Ideal candidates will have experience in physician liaison services, healthcare marketing, medical sales, or provider relations.

  • Part-Time Schedule: 25 Hours Weekly
  • Pay Rate: $22-$25/Hour
Responsibilities

Physician Relations: Identify, develop and grow referral opportunities with our customers including physicians, hospital systems, case managers, and other healthcare providers. Develop and follow an effective call strategy and route to increase the referral outcomes of existing and potential partners. Provide opportunities for physical therapists to interact with referral sources. Communicate effectively with referring providers and their office staff.

Community Engagement and Brand Awareness: Articulate partner brand value proposition and differentiators to educate the local community about our therapy and specialty services. Perform market research and develop strategies to identify local business partnerships and opportunities for advertising, affiliations, and sponsorships. Coordinate ordering and distributing current branded materials for assigned clinics. Assist with coordinating social media activities and publicity efforts. Assist with therapist recruiting initiatives by participating in career fairs and ensuring recruiting materials and collateral are up to date and consistent with brand identity.

Planning and Training:

Analyze and consistently review market data to determine opportunities for growth. Analyze and consistently review market data to determine opportunities for growth. Strategize and construct action plans for underperforming clinics to improve trends and performance. Provide business development and marketing training for Clinic Directors and designated clinical staff.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or clinical degree with healthcare sales/marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in healthcare marketing, physician liaison work, medical sales, or provider relations preferred.
