SUMMARYย
Mortenson is currently seeking a part-time (3 days a week for 8 hours each day, up to 24 hours a week) Receptionist that will be responsible for managing the front desk for Mortenson's office and providing exceptional customer service for external and internal customers.ย ย
RESPONSIBILITIESย
- Provide general administrative supportย
- Greet guests, provide guest badge, and notify appropriate partyย
- Operate multi-line telephone console, utilizing computerized database in answering and transferring callsย
- Handle queries and provide information to internal and external callersย
- Maintain guest logย
- Schedule conference rooms when requestedย
- Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsย
- Other duties as assignedย
QUALIFICATIONSย
- High school diploma or GED equivalentย
- Minimum six years of experience in a receptionist or customer service functionย
- Excellent communication and phone etiquette skillsย
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practicesย
- Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skillsย
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple administrative tasksย
- Microsoft Office, Project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate levelย
- Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsย
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies to employees and outside partiesย
- Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedbackย
The base pay range for this role is $19.57/hr - $26.44/hr. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).ย
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.ย ย ย
