Muir Wood Teen Treatment is a leading provider of residential and outpatient behavioral healthcare for teens ages 12–17. With programs in Sonoma County, Clovis, and Riverside, we specialize in treating primary mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.

The Operations Courier & Logistics Support plays a critical support role within Muir Wood Adolescent & Family Services by ensuring the timely, accurate, and confidential pickup, transport, and delivery of medications, supplies, food, and other essential items across all program sites. This role also provides hands-on operational support as needs arise, requiring flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to assist with a wide range of tasks that may change day to day.

This position requires extensive driving and regular communication with Operations, Nursing, and program staff.


Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following across Sonoma Muir Wood programs:

  • Pick up and deliver client medications from various pharmacies to assigned programs
  • Maintain accurate medication pickup and delivery documentation, including medication sign-off sheets
  • Obtain daily nursing sign-off for medication deliveries
  • Communicate proactively with Operations and Nursing regarding pickup schedules, changes, delays, or issues
  • Upload and assign receipts in RAMP to the appropriate clients or cost centers
  • Run operational errands as needed, including: shipping discharged client belongings, mailing items, shopping for supplies, equipment, or program needs
  • Assist the Culinary Department with food deliveries to programs as needed (minimum weekly support on Tuesdays)
  • Support the Operations team with administrative or operational tasks as assigned
  • Assist with house checks as needed
  • Help maintain staff offices at all sites, including basic organization, supply restocking, and readiness support
  • Respond to changing priorities and operational needs with flexibility and professionalism

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California Class C driver’s license
  • Personal vehicle with current liability insurance (required for reimbursable mileage)
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move between program sites
  • Vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination sufficient to perform job duties
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Driving Requirements
  • This position requires frequent driving
  • Employee must use their personal vehicle
  • Mileage is reimbursed at the current federal standard rate
