Job description

Harmony Gardens is hiring a Bus Driver to join our team in our building in Maplewood, MN. If you're looking for a supportive team and a place to grow your career, this is your opportunity. As a Bus Driver, you will drive a bus to help with access for our residents by bringing them to scheduled events. The ideal candidate is a safe, with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards.
Position Type: Part-Time, 18-hours a week, 36-hours a pay period.
Wage Range: $17.58 to $23.11 / hour depending on experience.
Location: 1438 County Road C East, Maplewood, MN 55109.
Bus Driver Responsibilities:
  • Drive the bus for scheduled resident and employee outings.
  • Complete proper documentation for MnDOT including daily logs and quarterly reports.
  • Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.
  • Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, cleaning the bus, etc.
  • Complete additional tasks as requested.
Bus Driver Qualifications:
  • Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years.
  • Must pass the MnDOT physical examination and a criminal background check.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience working with people with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired.
  • Friendly, outgoing and positive personality.
