- Work Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays 8AM -5 PM
- Breaks: 30-45 -minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
- Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.

Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric dentistry treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring aseptic techniques are followed meticulously.
Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
Manage patient records efficiently using EMR systems like open dental and dexis and note ai , ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, treatment plans, and medical coding.
Provide chairside assistance by managing vital signs, medical imaging, and assisting with four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health.
Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist and maintaining organized medical records.
Uphold infection control standards by following strict protocols for sterilization, handling of contaminated materials, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.
Qualifications
Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure in the respective jurisdiction.
Proven experience working in general dentistry with exposure to pediatric dentistry preferred.
Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental procedures.
Experience with X-ray techniques, including digital imaging and 3D scanning technology.
Familiarity with infection control procedures and aseptic techniques essential for patient safety.
Ability to perform vital signs assessment and assist with complex procedures across various specialties like prosthodontics or endodontics.
