As a Registered Dental Hygienist at Total Dental, you will play a vital role in patient care by performing thorough dental cleanings and examinations, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in providing comprehensive treatment. Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to assess and maintain patient oral health.
Capture and review diagnostic images including bitewing and other dental x-rays using medical imaging techniques.

Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
Collaborate closely with dentists and dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols in compliance with safety standards.
Stay current on dental terminology, anatomy, medical coding, and patient care best practices.
Utilize strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Salary Range

Part-time $46 - $49 per hour

Shift & Schedule

- Work Hours: Tuesdays and Friday, 9 AM -5 PM

Current Texas Registered Dental Hygienist license required.
CPR Certification required.
Proficient in dental software such as Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, dental terminology, medical coding, and patient assessment.
Skilled in dental hygiene procedures including scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
Experience with dental radiography including bitewing and other x-rays.
Excellent communication and patient care skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment.

Preferences

3-5 years of dental hygienist experience preferred (mid-level).
