Job description

Part-time dental hygienist for private practice in Media, PA. We are looking for someone with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, a gentle touch, and a strong work ethic. Private insurance only. Must be licensed in Pennsylvania.  Approximately 17 to 24 hours per week. No Fridays, late nights, or weekends ever!! 

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
  • Conduct thorough dental cleanings and provide preventive care to patients.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality.
  • Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all procedures.
  • Collaborate with the dental team providing specialized care.
  • Itero scans on all new patients
  • Anesthesia License

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • 2 years experience in dental hygiene preferred.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and familiarity with vital sign monitoring.
  • Knowledge of medical coding practices related to dental procedures is a plus.
