Job Requirements

Manage patients on the hospitalist service overnight.

Collaborate with the nursing staff, overnight nocturnist physician, and other providers.

Attend any rapid responses, Code Blue, Code Green calls to areas covered to provide information to the team.

Document interventions and evaluations in the medical record.

Communicate timely with the overnight physician and on-coming day time providers


Work Experience

Graduation from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program (required)

Active Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (required)

Active Maryland ACNP/AGACNP/PA License (required)

Active, unrestricted CDS and DEA license (required)

Current BLS certification (required)

Current ACLS certification (preferred)

2 years experience as hospitalist (preferred)
