Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant Instructor at Southern California Health Institute. The Medical Assistant Instructor will be responsible for teaching medical assisting courses and must have great classroom management and presentation skills. They will need to provide instruction on clinical procedures, patient interactions and communication, medical coding, medical terminology, and other relevant subjects.

Qualifications At least 3 yrs working in the field as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Nurse Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy skills Experience in teaching or leading courses and sharing your knowledge and skills Knowledge of anatomy, medical terms and office procedures Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively with students and staff Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
