This CNA / Patient Care Tech opportunity is full time, offers a convenient day shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic CNA/Patient Care Tech to provide safe, competent nursing assistant care for our patients. You will also provide professional support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities :

  • Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
  • Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
  • Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.
  • Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety (i.e. safe environment, equipment safety practices, radiation safety, fire prevention, etc.).
  • Adheres to fall precautions by performing/assisting patients with toileting/ADL care and never leaving the patient alone.  If assistance is needed, CNA is able to ask/call or help while remaining with the patient.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program
  • Current Nevada C.N.A. license.
  • Current BLS certificate.
  • Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
