FUNCIONES DE TRABAJO ESENCIALES

 

This description is a summary of primary responsibilities and qualifications.  The job description is not intended to include all duties or qualifications that may be required now or in the future.  The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.

  • Mantener las mesas limpias, organizadas y listas para recibir a cada nuevo huésped.
  • Retirar platos, cristalería y utensilios de manera ágil y eficiente.
  • Preparar y montar las mesas siguiendo los estándares de presentación del restaurante.
  • Dar la bienvenida al servicio ofreciendo agua, pan, mantequilla u otros acompañamientos según corresponda.
  • Reabastecer estaciones de servicio con cubiertos, cristalería, servilletas, condimentos, hielo y demás suministros necesarios.
  • Apoyar a los meseros en la entrega de alimentos y bebidas para ofrecer un servicio rápido y coordinado.
  • Realizar el pre-bus de mesas durante el servicio para mantener un ambiente limpio y ordenado.
  • Transportar utensilios y vajilla al área de lavado siguiendo los procedimientos establecidos.
  • Doblar servilletas y preparar cubiertos para garantizar que el restaurante siempre esté listo para recibir a sus invitados.
  • Mantener las áreas de trabajo limpias y organizadas durante todo el turno.
  • Atender solicitudes especiales de los huéspedes con una actitud cordial y orientada al servicio.
  • Colaborar con el resto del equipo del restaurante cuando las necesidades operacionales lo requieran.
  • Cumplir con los estándares de calidad, seguridad alimentaria, higiene y presentación personal establecidos por el hotel.
  • Seguir todas las políticas, procedimientos y normas de seguridad del hotel, incluyendo protocolos de prevención de incendios y emergencias.
  • Reportar inmediatamente cualquier condición insegura, accidente, incidente o daño a la propiedad.
  • Realizar otras tareas relacionadas que sean asignadas por su supervisor para garantizar una experiencia excepcional para nuestros huéspedes.

CONOCIMIENTOS, DESTREZAS Y HABILIDADES

  • Conocimiento básico sobre el manejo de alimentos y bebidas, estándares de servicio, atención al huésped y normas de etiqueta.
  • Conocimiento básico del manejo de herramientas como bandejas, vajilla, cristalería, cubiertos y demás utensilios de servicio.
  • Conocimiento básico del idioma inglés que le permita comprender preguntas sencillas de los huéspedes y comunicarse mediante instrucciones o respuestas básicas.
  • Capacidad para escuchar, comprender y aplicar instrucciones escritas en las etiquetas de productos, asegurando el uso seguro y adecuado de materiales, equipos y procesos dentro del hotel.

REQUISITOS FISICOS

  • Capacidad para transportar de forma continua bandejas con platos y bebidas de hasta 50 libras a través de áreas concurridas durante toda la jornada de trabajo.
  • Capacidad para levantar un máximo de 50 libras de manera segura.
  • Capacidad para mover o empujar artículos utilizando un carrito de transporte con un peso máximo de 100 libras.
  • Capacidad para permanecer de pie y caminar de forma constante durante el turno.
  • Capacidad para realizar con frecuencia movimientos de girar, doblarse, agacharse, estirarse y alcanzar objetos, así como permanecer de pie, caminar, hablar, escuchar, observar.
  • Capacidad de mantener una actitud cordial y profesional con los huéspedes mediante una expresión amable, sonriente, y positiva durante periodos de bajo y alto volumen operacional.
