Hourly Rate: $19.18

Days & Hours: Part-time – 20 hours per week. Variable weekly schedule to be established by supervisor. Flexible schedule may require evening and weekend hours during peak periods
Summary: Provide administrative, operational, research, and analytics support to GGU Worldwide and Beacon Education (China) partnership. This position will include training in our CRM system, Teams, Outlook, myGGU, and Colleague. Assist with other projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Beacon Education (China) partnership, including pre-admission, enrollment, verification, course enrollment, attendance monitoring, WASC reports, translation/interpretation, and academic quality initiatives.
- Manage data and documentation effectively, including proper use of OneDrive for secure storage and access control.
- Ensure use of standardized formats for student information and documents and follow GGU IT protocols when sharing files externally.
- Assist with graduation logistics, including booth setup, regalia distribution, registration flow, and pre-graduation preparations.
- Maintain a shared calendar to support timely coordination of immersion and graduation activities.
- Provide regular follow-ups and updates to the Program Coordinator (PC) and Beacon representatives.
- Generate Beacon graduation invitation and visa support letters.
- Assist Beacon students and GGU Graduation and Commencement team during campus visits and at commencement site.
- Beacon event organization and support (virtual, on campus, and off campus).
- Organize and provide on campus, off campus, study tours and immersions.
- Coordinate and liaise with International Admissions and Enrollment, Division of Student Success, International Student Services, other GGU schools, and international student groups and organizations.
- Network and coordinate with San Francisco’s Chinese American community and companies.
- Adapt to varying schedules and time zones, including evenings and weekends.
- Other administrative and research duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications, Education and/or Experiences:
Knowledge of: General office procedures, MS Office, ChatGPT. Global messaging apps including but not limited to WeChat, Viber, WhatsApp, Messenger. Understand what constitutes professional behavior and good teamwork.
Ability to: Communicate clearly and respectfully in written and verbal English and Chinese (Mandarin), organize information, attention to detail and work independently and be creative. Work outside of normal business hours and time zones. Be positive, patient, caring, optimistic, and have a can-do attitude. Language proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required.
Experience and Education: Previous office management and operations experience, along with basic computer, internet, and social media skills. Previous international education or organization experience is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, political science, education, international studies, psychology, development studies, economics, Chinese Studies, or other related fields is preferred.
