Job description

Tahoe Donner Association is looking for fun and high-energy Ski Patrol to join our winter operations! Ski Patrol shall be responsible for the overall safety of the ski area including aiding and assisting the skiing guests and providing first aid and emergency transportation to injured skiers from the slopes, lodge, or immediate vicinity to a safe location. The Ski Patrol I will educate the guests and employees about ski and snowboard safety awareness and control, maintain proper safety equipment and signage at the ski area, and facilitate the correction of safety problems.

We have both full time and part time seasonal opportunities available!

We are looking for applicants who exhibit the following qualities:

We are looking for the following qualifications:

  • Possession of valid Class C Driver License with a driving record meeting the minimum standards required by the Association insurance carrier.
  • Current Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) certification and/or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) 1 certification or greater and/or Wilderness First Responder (WFR).
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certifications recommended.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through six months related experience related experience and/or training as a ski patroller; or an equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position.
