Success in this role comes from reliability and consistency, not technical expertise. The ideal candidate takes ownership of a defined set of tasks, works independently with minimal supervision, and takes satisfaction in keeping a busy lab environment organized and running efficiently.

  • Assist with glassware washing and sterilization
  • Support general lab organization, including periodic clean-outs of bench and storage areas
  • Wipe down shared equipment and common lab surfaces on a routine basis
  • Perform additional job-related duties as required

Minimum Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to independently execute a defined set of recurring tasks after training, methodically working through responsibilities and completing them within a given shift
  • Dependable and proactive in flagging issues or delays to the appropriate team members(s)
  • Work is performed on-site in an active lab environment; this is a physical role requiring regular movement, standing for extended periods, and lifting to 50 lbs
  • Self-motivated, organized, and takes pride in doing routine work well

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a laboratory, facilities, custodial, warehouse, or other operational support role
  • Seeking a stable, part-time schedule with consistent hours and well-defined responsibilities

Management responsibilities: None.
Travel: None.
