Position Title: Part -Time Line Cook
Department: Culinary Services
Reports To: Executive Chef / Food & Beverage Director
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team in a luxury senior living community. The ideal candidate is a skilled professional with a strong background in high-volume, restaurant-quality food preparation, a commitment to excellence, and a genuine desire to enhance the dining experience of our residents. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, food safety expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, production sheets, and chef specifications.
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency for daily service and special events.
  • Execute multiple cooking stations efficiently during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered functions.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with sanitation, food safety, and dietary guidelines.
  • Assist with menu implementation, recipe adherence, and portion control standards.
  • Monitor food inventory, rotate stock, and minimize waste through proper storage and handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with chefs and culinary team members to ensure timely meal service.
