Camp Director – Coppermine Summer Camps

Summary of Responsibilities

As a Camp Director you are responsible for the campers, counselors, and CITS that are placed within your group. The Camp Director will interact with parents, plan daily activities, record attendance, manage camper behavior, and ensure a high level of expectation to provide campers with a positive experience at Coppermine Summer Camp.

Position Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a child care setting or in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills; able to inspire and motivate staff and create a positive and inclusive camp environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively communicate camp policies, procedures, and expectations.
  • Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate camp activities, schedules, and logistics.
  • A genuine interest in working with children and creating a positive and enriching experience.
  • Availability for a minimum of 9 consecutive weeks.
