JOB DESCRIPTION

For over 17 years, the Principal of ABC Early Intervention has been dedicated to setting standards for excellence for Early Intervention. Our philosophy reflects professionals working collaboratively with their team, families, communities, and children to maximize each child’s potential.

We are seeking a dynamic Part Time (Hourly) Early Interventionist who is looking for a comprehensive and rewarding experience. In this role, you will work with caregivers and their children aged 0-3 years who have a developmental delay or are at risk. Using a coaching model, you will provide caregivers with ideas and strategies to help lesson those delays. As well as researching resources to share with families. All visits are in the natural environment (Families’ home, daycare, library, store, park etc.) Please note that this position will have the opportunity to be FULL TIME as your caseload grows.

Qualified candidates Level of Education:

A bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Education Categories: Early Childhood, Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or Elementary Education, Speech, Physical & Occupational Therapy. Other: Child/Human Development, Family and Consumer Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, and Sociology

And:

REQUIRED: At least one year of experience in early intervention or early childhood education or working with children aged 0-3 years.

(PREFERRED) At least one year of experience with South Carolina's BabyNet Early Intervention Program.
