Description
  • Provide security presence on campus during school hours, events and as needed throughout the academic year.
  • Monitor campus facilities and grounds to ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Requirements
  • Honorably retired Law Enforcement with valid CCW or LEOSA
  • Willing to complete a background check and fingerprinting per state/ local requirements
  • Be willing to complete all mandatory training required annually
  • Maintain proper certifications
  • Reasonable availability during major school events which are scheduled at the beginning of the year
  • Complete all annual mandatory safety, compliance, and school-required training.
  • Adhere strictly to all state, local, and school policies regarding firearm safety, access control, and incident response.
  • Hours are intermittent dependant on school need and fluctuate greatly - with potential stretches of time extending multiple days.
  • There are no minimum hours guaranteed
