Description
The Hotel Audio Visual (AV) Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio, video, lighting, and conferencing equipment for meetings, banquets, and events. This role ensures smooth and high-quality technical execution while coordinating client AV requirements in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). The technician also maintains AV equipment and works to deliver excellent customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Event Support: Set up, operate, and dismantle microphones, sound systems, projectors, video displays, and lighting.
โ€ข Technical Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve AV issues during live events to prevent disruptions.
โ€ข Client Interaction: Meet with clients to review AV requirements, ensure equipment meets their needs, and provide support throughout the event.
โ€ข Equipment Maintenance: Clean, test, and perform preventive maintenance on gear to ensure it is in good working order.
โ€ข Cable Management: Properly dress, tape down, and secure all cabling for safety and aesthetics.
โ€ข Compliance: Adhere to safety, security, and company policies, including following specific brand standards.
Qualifications
