Heyl, Royster, Voelker & Allen, P.C., is a large, fast-paced law firm seeking a motivated, organized, and reliable individual for a part-time Mail Clerk in our Springfield office. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MAIL CLERKAs a Mail Clerk, you will spend most of your time handling electronic and paper mail in an office environment - sorting, organizing, and sending. You will independently and correctly scan, save, and email documents. You will efficiently and thoroughly manage digital document filing, including encrypted documents and email correspondence. You will excel at processing reports in both electronic and paper form, providing excellent customer service to Firm employees. You will assist in mail pickup and delivery. You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.You will handle other general office duties that could include reception, front desk, etc. As the Firm's first impression in person or on the phone, you will provide excellent customer service to all colleagues and clients.QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A MAIL CLERKPrior office or law firm experience a bonusHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExceptional attention to detail requiredMust have strong computer skills working with Microsoft OfficeOutstanding organizational skillsMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportationDespite a fast pace and short timeframes, you excel and are efficient and thorough with multiple large volume tasks.
