Holiday Inn Express at the Asheville Outlets is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laundry Attendant. The Role:
As a laundry attendant you are responsible to operate and monitor laundry equipment, and to sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to established standards. Throughout this process, you inspect items for stains and damages, taking appropriate action when issues are identified. You also ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area, adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow. Reporting stock levels of products to the Housekeeping Managers, you help to maintain a proper inventory of cleaning supplies.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in laundry or a related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry laundry bags and linen bins – good physical stamina
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Effective communication skills – English not required but basic proficiency preferable
  • Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and detergents.
