Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity to make a profound difference in students’ lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive educational environment. Two distinct positions are available: a full-time SLP role for the 2026–2027 school year, and a part-time role focusing on SLPA supervision. Both roles are based on-site in the welcoming community of Claremont, New Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments as part of IEP team processes.
  • Provide specialized speech and language services in a school-based setting.
  • Supervise up to 2.0 FTE Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to foster their development and ensure quality programming.
  • Complete 30-day reviews for paraeducators involved in Medicaid-reimbursable services.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and success.
  • Maintain compliance with professional and district guidelines for documentation and service delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active New Hampshire licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with CCC credentials preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in school settings, including IEP evaluations and documentation.
  • Familiarity with supervising SLPAs and conducting thorough assessments.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills.

Additional Details:

  • One full-time (1.0 FTE) and one part-time opportunity (up to 20 hours/month for SLPA supervision).
  • All positions are on-site within Claremont public schools.
  • Mileage for travel to and from Claremont is reimbursed at the current IRS rate.
