Job Description
Mack’s Premier Lawn & Landscape is seeking a reliable and motivated Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position primarily involves operating a mowing route servicing residential properties throughout the area. The employee will be responsible for driving a company truck and trailer, operating commercial mowing equipment, and maintaining a high standard of quality on every property.
Daily responsibilities include mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing off driveways and walkways to ensure each property is left clean and well-presented. The technician will also perform basic equipment checks and maintain a professional appearance while representing the company.
In addition to lawn maintenance, the employee may occasionally assist with tree removal and tree trimming jobs. These responsibilities are limited to assisting crew members on-site with tasks such as moving brush, loading debris, and helping maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
This role also includes assisting with marketing efforts by distributing door hangers in residential neighborhoods. The ideal candidate must be comfortable walking neighborhoods, interacting politely with homeowners when approached, and representing the company in a professional and respectful manner.
Pay
Starting pay is $700 per week base pay with the opportunity to earn up to $900+ per week through performance bonuses.
Additional weekly bonuses include:
- $100 Quality Bonus: Earned each week with no customer complaints, no late days,and consistent quality work.
- $100 Equipment Care Bonus: Earned each week if no equipment is damaged due to negligence and equipment is properly maintained.
Employees may also have opportunities for weekend overtime, which includes additional bonus pay depending on the scope of the work.
