Bryant & Stratton College is currently seeking a part-time Lab Coordinator.
JOB SUMMARY
  • Lab Management: Oversee the use, inventory, and maintenance of all nursing skills laboratory equipment and supplies; develop inventory control procedures and recommend purchases. Ordering supplies, coordinating deliveries, putting away supplies once delivered.
  • Equipment & Safety: Ensure the lab environment is safe, clean, and orderly; and report major repair needs.
  • Recordkeeping: Prepare and maintain records and surveys related to laboratory operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with nursing faculty to align lab activities with curriculum goals.
  • Simulation & Setup: Set up and maintain simulation mannequin, skills demonstrations, and manage drug dispensing cabinets and mannequins.
  • Examinations & Proctoring: Proctor exams and lab skills check offs when needed.
  • Professional Engagement: Participate in faculty meetings, site visits, and committees to evaluate and improve the nursing program
  • Student Support & Instruction: Provide open lab and lab skills instruction when needed. Lecture instruction when needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Active Registered Nursing License with the state of Ohio
  • 2 years of full-time work as a Registered Nurse
  • MSN preferred
  • Working knowledge of computer software (email, Microsoft Word, etc.)
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and student success
  • Commitment to continuous curriculum enhancement and application of best practices
  • Strong team player and ability to have flexible working hours
  • Ability to make meaningful and positive connections with diverse student body in a career college environment.
