Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour

Location: 1000 Tulip Drive, Gastonia, NC (On-site)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, approx. 20–25 hours/week

Position Summary

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Document Control Clerk to manage, digitize, and maintain company records at our Gastonia facility. This role is currently Part-Time with the opportunity to transition into a Full-Time position based on business needs, workload, and performance.

In this role, you will be responsible for processing shipping, receiving, and purchasing paperwork, verifying document accuracy, and ensuring smooth communication between office and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scanning & Digital Organization: Scan, index, and upload shipping, receiving, purchasing, and general administrative documents into internal electronic systems and designated folders.
  • Quality Review: Check scanned records for completeness, legibility, and proper formatting before archiving.
  • Document Distribution: Promptly email and route critical paperwork to the appropriate internal departments and external contacts.
  • Filing & Record Management: Accurately label, date, cross-reference, and file physical and digital documentation (linking records to specific customers, purchase orders, or shipments).
  • Archive Maintenance: Organize and maintain historical records to ensure quick and easy retrieval.
  • Team Communication: Work directly with both office staff and warehouse personnel to track down missing paperwork and ensure seamless recordkeeping.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in office administration, records management, document control, or warehouse/logistics support preferred.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including email, document scanning, electronic filing, and digital folder management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
  • Reliable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow established record-keeping procedures consistently.
  • Comfortable working in both an office setting and a warehouse environment.
