Job description

Part-Time Inventory Worker 

Location: Longmont, CO 80503 (On-site)

Job Type: Part-Time, Temporary (4-month assignment with potential 2-month extension)

Schedule: 2–3 days per week (16–24 hours total), Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Inventory Worker to join our team in Longmont, CO. Operating within an innovative aerospace environment, you will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, prepping parts for flight assembly, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

This role requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with limited oversight. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Parts Prepping: Clean, bag, and tag parts while strictly maintaining part integrity and traceability.

  • Kitting: Kit parts for flight assembly builds by accurately following pick tickets.

  • Data Entry: Perform routine data entry to maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records.

  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain and organize secured storage locations; assist with receiving materials, supplies, and services.

  • Inventory Control: Perform regular cycle counts and assist with the annual inventory process.

  • Team Collaboration: Work directly from task lists assigned by the Inventory Lead and collaborate across departments to ensure a smooth workflow.

  • Reporting: Report directly to the Procurement/Facility Manager and complete other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience: Prior inventory management or warehousing experience is preferred.

  • Skills: * Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and high integrity.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to work with computers and quickly learn new inventory software/processes.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Flexibility: Ability to follow and execute standard operating procedures in a regulated aerospace setting. Flexibility to shift priorities as needed; occasional off-hours or weekend support may be required.
