Grant Writer – Part-time - Butler, PA


Lifesteps, a non-profit agency based in Butler, PA is seeking a part-time talented Grant Writer to join the team. The position is responsible for researching, planning, writing, submitting, and tracking compelling grant proposals to secure funding in support of the Organization’s programs and services.

The position will work 24-28 hours per week, with the work being completed onsite during the weekdays - Monday through Friday.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of grant writing experience preferred.
  • Proven written and research abilities that include clear, precise, and compelling writing.
  • Familiar with grant funding sources.
  • Detailed oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to work effectively in multi-agency environments.
  • Commitment to positively impacting the community and individuals the Organization serves
  • Current driver's license and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.
