Job description

As a Retail & Trade Design Specialist, you will inspire clients to express themselves in their homes while supporting the operational strength of our trade business.

You will lead in-store and online design consultations, assist designers with project needs, and bring the shopping experience to a seamless close by guiding clients confidently through purchase decisions.

This role blends sales, design expertise, and disciplined execution within a high-touch luxury showroom.

Trade Support
  • Assist interior designers with stock checks, pricing, and lead times
  • Prepare quotes and support order entry for trade accounts
  • Track open quotes and maintain accurate CRM records
  • Coordinate sample requests and maintain the showroom sample library
  • Support trade appointments and in-store presentations
  • Assist with trade events and programming
  • Uphold showroom merchandising and visual standards
Design Services
  • Lead in-store and online design consultations
  • Review floor plans, measurements, and client inspiration
  • Translate functional needs and aesthetic goals into cohesive design direction
  • Create polished presentations, including:
    • Space planning guidance
    • Curated Lemieux et Cie product selections
    • Visual references and narrative framing
    • Clear, actionable recommendations tied to the client's budget and lifestyle
    • Guide clients confidently toward product decisions
    • Partner with the team to ensure order accuracy and brand alignment
Qualifications
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in interiors, luxury retail, or showroom sales
  • Understanding of textiles, furniture, or materials
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable working with designers and high-end clientele
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and select event evenings
